This Six Cities Watershed Management Organization (SCWMO) dissolved in 2011. It previously had jurisdiction over portions of southern Anoka County, Minnesota.

Approximately two-thirds of the areas of the former SCWMO were adopted by the Coon Creek Watershed District on December 14, 2011. This area includes areas in the Cities of Blaine, Coon Rapids, Spring Lake Park, and portions of Fridley. For information regarding these areas, please visit the Coon Creek Watershed District website.

The remaining one-third of the former SCWMO is currently an orphan, not covered by a watershed organization. This includes portions of the City of Fridley, and all of the Cities of Columbia Heights and Hilltop. These areas will likely be adopted by another WMO in the near future. For now, please contact your city for assistance.
