Wildlife Corridors
Site Protection
The ACD is working with the MN DNR and the Metro Wildlife Corridors Group to identify and protect key parcels throughout the identified wildlife corridor system. This is done on a voluntary basis with individual landowners willing to donate or sell their property or a conservation easement. There are some federal, state and nonprofit agencies with funding to purchase fee title when applicable or purchase conservation easements.
