SNOWBERRY (Symphoricarpos albus)

Snowberry is a small fast growing shrub whose berries persist into winter. Snowberry grows to a height of 3-5' tall, is tolerant of shade, moderately tolerant to drought, and grows in a variety of soils. The shrub has small pinkish clusters of bell flowers and produce berries that attract wildlife.

Wildlife Food & Cover: Good food - berries, songbirds. Fair cover - escape.

Flowers: Small pinkish bells in clusters

Fruit: White berry clusters Sept-Dec

Ecosystem: White Pine Hardwood Forest

Other: Small arching shrub, suckers, berries persist into winter
