Jack PINE
(Pinus banksiana)
Jack pine reaches heights of 40-50' and is a moderate to slow growing tree with flat needles two in a bundel, slightly twisted and grayish-green in color. It is shade intolerant and will grow in dry sandy soils too poor for most plants.
