Land Protection Services
Since 1999 when ACD received its first Metro Greenways Planning Grant from the MN DNR we have been identifying high quality natural resources in Anoka County. We have also been assisting owners of these high quality natural resources with protection. This protection has come is several forms including purchased conservation easements, donated conservation easements and fee title acquisition. We work with several partners to protect Anoka County's most important natural resources, including the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources Metro Greenways Program, Minnesota Land Trust, Trust for Public Land, Cedar Creek Natural History Area and MN DNR Division of Wildlife.
